(no subject)
So these last couple of days have been a bit crappy. Work has been hectic and my car has been a big pain. I got two flat tires on Sunday! What the heck. I think the cold weather affected them. One of the flats happened before I went to watch the Super Bowl at my parents. I was luckily able to inflate my tire so I could drive there. Then after the game my other front tire rim seal basically died right after turning onto M59. I made it back to my parents luckily a bit after the tire was completely flat. If I hadn't made it back I would have been screwed since it was like -3 degrees out and I couldn't get the flat tire off to put my spare on. I didn't have my torque wrench with me to get my lug nuts off. So I had to borrow my Mom's car so I could get to work on Monday. So that was my wonderful Sunday.
Late Monday I had to head back to my parents with my tools to put my spare on and move a good tire up front. One thing is for sure chrome lug nuts look pretty funny on a small black steel spare tire. Today I took my car into Discount tire in Howell and they said the tire is not repairable! Crap. They have to order a tire from the West coast and it won't be in until probably Monday or Tuesday of next week! So I have to have a spare tire on for a week. This sucks. I basically can only drive to and from work safely and if it snows I may have to have Jason pick me up to go to work. Blah.
Right now I am sitting in front of my fire :-). There is something soothing about a fire to me especially during a cold winter. I enjoy curling up right next to it with some music playing in the background. I think it is saving me from going insane from all the work, car problems and other crap that has been happening lately.
Anyway, since I can't really drive anywhere far for a week does anyone want to come over Friday evening and watch a movie or just play some games? Just let me know.
