Finally feeling back to normal
So after being sick for the last week and a half with a bad cold that then turned into Laryngitis I am finally feeling almost back to normal. I can't believe how long it lasted. Not being able to talk well from Thursday until Monday sucked too. Quite a few people have been sick over the last couple of weeks at work so I think I got it from there.
Other than being sick not much else is new. Work is going to get a bit hectic very soon because of a huge project that is starting that will last until middle of next year. Oh I also got a replacement personal Laptop from Dell last week since they couldn't fix my old laptop after replacing three parts and a Dell tech came out to my house two times. A least the new laptop is a newer model and a bit faster too so that somewhat makes up for not having my laptop working for a month.
So this weekend I won't be heading on up north with everyone :-(. I have to work Friday and I am planning on attending a Drag Racing event with the Michigan Grand Prix club Saturday night. So for anyone else that also isn't going up to Elk Rapids you are definitely welcome to come attend the racing event with me. It is from about 5 to 10 pm in Stanton, MI. I would be leaving from my house at about 2 or 3 since it takes about 1 hour 45 min to get there. So just let me know if anyone is interested in going.
