Stupid NUS card... and other things XD
So today I realised that the email NUS sent me wasn't just an email... strategically hidden at the bottom of the email was the link to the re-activate page, which I apparently need to fill in before I get my card ;A; So i'll be waiting a while for that ¬_¬
And my student finance confirmation letter hasn't come either... and I just realised I STILL haven't filled in the form to get inet this year at uni... WHY AM I SUCH A FAIL????!!!!!!!
On another note, went to see G Force in the cinema yesterday, which was adorable <3 But a very typical disney live action film... I wanted to facepalm in some parts XD And my sisters totally burned a hole in my pocket... never taking them again ;A;
Mmmm and on the sewing machine front.... the thread doesn't tangle any more, but one side sews too slowly or something? IDK, but one side has perfect stitches and the other side has thread all over the place. My mum insists it's the tensions, but I don't know how to fix it... yet when I ask to take it to a sewing machine service shop or something to fix it, she says it shoud be something I can figure out by myself... thanks mum... the only one who didn't get taught to use a sewing machine in textiles class (there wasn't enough time in the lesson apparently ¬_¬) has to figure it out by herself... It doesn't help that none of the other sewing machines of this model look ANYTHING like mine in onine guides ;A; I'll figure it out eventually I guess. However, I really need to get this cosplay sorted, and i'm a bit of a loss on what to do for the trousers... (well, everything really, but lets focus on the trousers...) But I dunno if the colour is ok? (I said I was awful at these things) I'd like a second opinion (or 3 or 4) if anyone could help me ^^
I'd proabably have to hand sew the errrr... decorative... thingies... (lulz) on, because I can't see how else to do this without actually stitching the leggings together ;A; And i'm aiming to use satin or something for the jacket and stuff, If I can figure it out... *istotallyuseless* The lady in the fabric store was selling brocade (?) and stuff for the decorations, so that'll be fun~ :3
Also, the hetalia twitter rpg has been taking out some of the boredom I have been suffering lately :D I am http://twitter.com/tomato_siesta, or spain :3 So far we have an england, france, hungary, russia, canada, lithuania, poland, america, sealand, belarus, Finaland, we did have a Sweden, but for some reason he's disappeared from my following list ;A; And we have a Prussia and S.Italy :3 (though I haven't actually heard from prussia since I joined the rp, and Lovi has also been MIA for a few days ;A; (Come back to Spain, Lovi <3<3)) It'd be awesome if we could get more nations on there :3
