Donuts and embryos
I can't believe i forgot Faschnacht day again! For five years now, i've been wanting to make donuts on Fat Tuesday. I need some kind of alert system for Very Important Days such as this. Blah!
Is anyone interested in participating in a web-based seed swap, and does anyone have any ideas on how to make this happen? I think we should keep it friends- and friends-of-friends only, at least this year. We need a timeline; a starting date late enough that we've had opportunities to start building/collecting our stock, but not so late that those in more southernly climates will be scrambling to start seeds before last frost date. We need a venue: LJ forum? Web page? Mailing list? Anyone have experience with this sort of thing? Anyone besides Karen and Mark interested?
