To My Lost Loves
this serenade I write for the lost loves of my life,
Opened my eyes- let me see what i could truly be,
And left me lost out in the rain,
Allowed me to see what I never could see,
So I remained, torn and filled with pain.
My love for you runs deeper than I'm sure I can explain,
So I won't waste time to try to make you see,
Just know that I think about you often,
And though you are a world away,
I still hold you close to me.
Currently I'm crushed,
I've run myself into the ground,
I know that time will heal the wounds,
But it seems impossible now..
