One thing about being slightly depressed(*), so plugging in headphones at work while workingo n surveys of national sea level monitoring services...
Listening to too much Depeche Mode and becoming (oh, always temporarially!) convinced yet again that 'Never let me down again' is actually the best song of the 20th Century, and possibly the pinacle of human achievement. At one of my previous jobs, Melbourne Uni, I was playing it out loud in the office, which I was allowed to do when I worked through lunch. My boss came in, paused, and said:
"That's the best song in the world, you know."
To which I had to agree.
(*) I have excrutiating mouth problems. Dentist soon.
