HAPPY BOXING DAY!!
Yes Boxing Day, that poor forgotten day just after Christmas when, in times past, the poorboxes of the Church would be broken open and the money given to the poor along with Christmas leftovers and unwanted presents and . . . other neat stuff. And now people mainly go out and buy even more stuff in the sales or laze about playing with all their new things. :-P I've been playing with my new mp3 player, which seems to be more complicated than I would have liked. I also got chocolate, and alcohol and BOOKS! :-D *sigh* I must be a geek to be so thrilled about getting books. But they're really good books! Of course there were other things I wanted for Christmas but nothing I could ask my parents for. :-S But that's what Christmas money is for! ^__^
I hope everyone had a great Christmas and got lots of nice things, and yes I am still alive and working on the focus group fics I owe people. ^__^ Woodlandelf's is actually finished and was done a while ago, that one went pretty well but I wanted to put them all in one post so sorry for making you wait! Sixwing's I got an idea for and started writing, but then the inspiration just kind of left and every time I try write it now it sounds horrible and I hate it. I'll try work on it later. Dour's I wasn't getting an idea (well not a good one) for ages and then just the other day I got a kick from my hindbrain and started writing. I hate my brain sometimes. It's maybe, halfway finished? And I will try get them done before New Year because leaving them this long is absolutely terrible. And they'll be ficlets, rather than drabbles, because they just don't want to seem to stick to drabble length. ^^; But hey, considering how long you've been waiting already that's a good thing. :-)
And speaking of late things ^^; Christmas cards I was sending to people (all 3 of you *g*) will be sent on the 28th since I had other stuff to send and thought I'd wait until it wasn't so crazy at the post office since things wouldn't make it in time for Christmas anyway. So you'll be getting a nice late Christmas surprise! (Yeah, I know, I'm terrible.)
