When we last left Hicksville, Lizzie Beth was about to become an adult. Let’s see the damage.
Other than being upset about not college, not too bad. Now, what did you grow up into?
That’ll do. Now, get yourself out of here; I need the room.
Bye, Lizzie Beth. You’ll be background fodder for birthday parties in the future, but this is the last we’ll hear from you.
Peggy Sue and Junior make friends.
And Carson becomes my next uncontrollable teen. He’s Popularity/Fortune, and wants to become a General. Sorry, bud, not going to happen.
Kids were kids.
Matthew worked on building his Evil Snowman Army.
And poor Junior nearly screwed everything up by practically freezing and getting me a SoWo warning. Luckily a few warm baths averted a crisis.
Norma Jean grew up into a questionable outfit.
And her birthday party became my first ever to be busted up by the police. She’s now living with Lizzie Beth, and will not be played again.
Junior became a teen. He rolled Fortune/Pleasure, and wants to earn $100,000. Excuse me while I laugh.
He promptly sat down to play the computer Mr. Humble brought, and broke it.
So the collection of busted electronics grows…
I gave up on feeding Grace Kibble of Life, and she soon went with Grimmy. I’ve got a bit of time before I need the requisite 2 dogs, and I’ll wait until then to get them.
With her 3 scholarships in hand, Peggy Sue got the heck out of Hicksville, and off to La Fiesta Tech.
And her she is as a Young Adult; she’ll be stuck in the dorms for all eternity now.
Lepus won the heir poll, so I’ve been trying to introduce him to potential spouse. Matthew was already friends with the bartender, so I had her come over.
Carson grew up to an adult, and got kicked out to live with his half sisters.
Poor Junior’s not doing so well as a teen. I worry about him when he grows up.
And now I have 2 more uncontrollable teens.
And here they are with their makeovers. Lyra’s Pleasure/Knowledge, with a numbered date want that I’ve neglected to write down. Lepus is Family/Fortune, and wants 6 grandkids. That *might* happen.
And what’s the first thing Lyra does as a teen? Tries to set the house on fire, of course. I think she’s jealous that she’s not the heir.
As I predicted, Junior’s adult birthday did not go so well (I think it’s the hairstyle he grew up into that sent him over the edge, tbh).
And after I gave him a membership to the Hair Club for Sims (TM), he got the boot too.
The porch got covered…
Because Matthew bought two labs; a chocolate and a yellow. The yellow lab is Goldie and the chocolate I forget as I moved him out with Lyra when she grew up.
Try for puppies was a success on the first try; two are on the way.
Another genie lamp! Lepus and his future wife will be able to be permaplat from the get go. Score! (Which is exactly what Matthew and Jan are doing in the background...sigh).
*sigh* Hurry up and grow up, you two.
Puppy time! A boy and a girl. The girl puppy got moved out with Lyra and I forget her name too. The boy is Benny, and he’ll be breading fodder for more puppies eventually.
Jackpot! I predict the next yard sale will be very successful.
Puppies are dogs now.
Not the only birthdays. Poor Lyra has a breakdown too.
And I guess Junior never really recovered from his.
Okay, Lepus, let’s see.
Aw, why so sad? Quick, to a community lot to find you a woman!
This is Linda Barthlet, one of the AL sport townies. I love her face template, and they seem to like each other. So, let’s pursue this.
Rejected! Get to know her a bit first, Lepus.
After pink crush hearts, kiss is accepted.
Lepus invites her home, and ACR kicks in.
And then it REALLY kicks in.
I don’t think Jan approves of what Lepus did in her and Matthew’s bed.
Linda moves in. She’s a Leo (4/10/4/4/3), Popularity/Grilled Cheese who wants to become a Hall of Famer. Nope.
She moved in with $5,000 so I could do what I wanted with it. I decided to buy some new clothes for people, and something else I’ll show later. Here’s Lepus looking all spiffy with his new duds.
Linda was a Fast Food Shift Supervisor, but she quit her job. Matthew will be the one to earn the money for now.
And here Linda is with her makeover.
Come on, ACR, do your thing! (And it did! Lullaby!)
While we wait for her first bump, Linda wishes for Peace of Mind. Permaplat? Yes please.
I also bought this: a toy making bench. I want a Water Wiggler, so that I don’t need to remember to bathe the dogs. As long as I don’t sell what they make except at the yard sale, I’m good.
I imagine this conversation went something like, “So, you knocked me up and I can’t hide it anymore. What are you going to do about it?”
He’s going to propose in the bathroom, that’s what.
Wedding time!
Junior decided to photobomb all my wedding pictures.
And a few hours after the wedding’s over, it’s time for their firstborn to make an appearance.
It’s a boy!
The firstborn of the second batch of kids is a boy who I named Forrest. He’s got the alien skin and eyes and brown hair.
That’s all for now. Probably won’t be another update until I’m ready for an heir poll again. I hope you enjoyed.
