"James, thank you for coming over today."
"It's not like I had much choice, Creator Lady. You used your magic little yellow vase to make me come here."
"James, it's Heidi. Your brother's married to my daughter, after all. I think we can be on a first name basis."
"Yeah, okay. Why did you summon me here anyway?"
"Well, you know that issue you were having with the telephone in the farmhouse?"
"Where no one could call us and we couldn't call out, and then suddenly it worked?"
"Yeah, that one. I fixed it by moving you in and out of the house."
"Hey, thanks! I'm Fortune, you know, so I want Nick and eventually Dotty and Danny to Get Scholarships."
"Exactly. But the thing is, I made a little mistake. I forgot to pack up the family portraits when I moved you out of the house. So...they're gone."
"What do you mean they're gone?!? That's six generations of portraits!"
"I thought the Objects Stay shrub would keep them..."
"I thought you were supposed to be the one to make sure nothing bad happened to us!"
"Now wait a minute! If I hadn't done the move-out-move-in trick, your phones would still be broken. So overall I've helped you. So how about you listen to everything I have to say before you yell at me?"
"Okay, okay. For someone with 8 nice points, you sure can be...testy."
"I have the power of the Bat Box, James. Don't piss me off."
"Okay, okay. So...uh...do you have a plan to fix the portrait mess? I mean, I know you're not playing for points, but the upstairs landing will be pretty bare without them."
"I'm glad you asked, James. Through the magic of SimPE and CAS, I've recreated your ancestors in another neighborhood, had their portraits repainted, and had those portraits shipped here."
"Is that safe? I mean, I kind of want my dead grandfather Matthew to stay...well, DEAD."
"Of course it's safe? I used Clean Installer to package the lot with the portraits."
"Okay...so when do I get them?"
"Here you go!"
"All twelve portraits fit in this little box? I don't understand."
"We're Sims, James; it's not supposed to make sense."
"So how does this work now?"
"The portraits will be in your inventory. When Real!Me loads your lot, she'll pull them from your inventory and put them on the walls. And if anyone asks, Viola took it upon herself to recreate the family portraits since she was bored from not painting for people to buy."
"I guess that makes sense. So...that's it?"
"That's it."
"So...any chance you'll tell me what you have planned for my kids when this World War happens?"
"Nope."
"How about you let me zap someone with that Bat Box thing?"
"Goodbye, James."

So......this is to let you know that I forgot to put the family portraits in someone's inventory when I moved the Bradfords out and then back into the farmhouse to fix a glitch where the phones would not work. I feel like an idiot, though I did thing the Things Stay Shrub would save them because they save the career rewards.
But anyway, I've done new versions of all the portraits. They're not the same, but I kind of like them better. See for yourself.
John and Chris (Generation 1)
Elias and Uma (Generation 2)
Thomas and Carolina (Generation 3)
Matthew and Jan (Generation 4)
Jefferson and Marsha (Generation 5)
James and Cindy (Generation 6)
With that fixed, I can get back to playing/filming/writing. I'm hoping for a chapter very soon. Stay tuned!
