Chapter 25 Picspam Part 1
Greetings! I've been sorting through the pictures from the last chapter, and I have some to share with you. This batch includes pictures from the households that didn't make it into the chapter, including the Gavigans, Thompsons, Phoenixes, Maurice Alcotts, Bears, Langeraks, and Hutchins.
Gavigans
With the restrictions and so many kids at various stages of growing up, I always seem to have someone on the sewing machine.
In the Gavigan house, it's Lila.
These two really are cute together. It's kind of a shame that they're both going to go in the next rotation (summer).
And these two are crazy stalkers. It's a good thing I don't have ACR or there would be a ton more Gavigan kids running around.
It's always fun when Sims with 1 nice point play chess. There will be a ton of this over the next generation.
And since Walter wanted a car and they had the money, I obliged him. That is a sweet looking car.
Of course, I got ahead of my self in that last picture. Here's Walter about to celebrate his teenage birthday.
Here's Walter as a teen. He's quite the fine looking lad. He rolled Fortune, and wants to be a Criminal Mastermind.
Thompsons
This house is an exercise in opposites right now.
Amos is the prime example. He'll be acting all lovey-dovey with his wife one moment.
And glaring at Juan the next.
Of course, the glaring had consequences.
So Amos wins (and knocks Juan through the dining room table in the meantime).
And of course, Amos wants something he can't have now. Lovely. And they're both going to be around for a while.
Let's move on to Audrey now. She's part of the Tub Pirate Brigade, but her playfulness and meanness leads her to be a prankster.
She's constantly doing the "Shock" prank on everyone.
But she's sweet too. Time to give Grandma Kea one last hug.
Before it's time for Kea to leave us. Notice the open door in the background? Well...
That's because she ran outside to greet Orson as he came home from work.
But life goes on. Audrey needs Body skill points, so she's off to the ballet bar.
And here she is playing with the bear that Kea made. Of course with 1 nice point she smashes it on its head a lot too.
Phoenixes
Pierce had been gardening to pass the time, and to fill the fridge. He won't be allowed to look for a new job until the end of the next rotation.
The Phoenix family is very comfortable with each other, as you can see.
Oh look! It's time for Nancy's birthday.
And here she is after her teenage makeover. She's managed to grow into her brows. Nancy rolled Pleasure, and she wants 50 Dream Dates. I may do that for her, as I've never done it before and I can do them all with whoever I end up marrying her to.
Maurice Alcotts
I was lazy here and only took a few pictures.
Here's Silas and Katherine. And this reminds me that I either need to move them into a new house or give the house a makeover. It hasn't really changed since I fixed it up for Horace back in generation 3.
This is Clarence, their son, as a toddler.
And here he is after his post-childhood birthday makeoveer. You may be seeing more of him, as I have a plot idea with him in mind. We'll see how that plays out.
Bears
Ericka was getting old, but she still makes time for her friends.
She gossips with Sally whenever she comes over.
I think she's a little senile too, as she constantly laughs at her dead husband's portrait.
Oh, what's this? Finally, one of the last two births of this generation: Octavia and William's kid.
Look! It's a baby. This little boy is Kenneth Bear. He's got his mama's brown hair and his daddy's blue eyes.
This is pretty much how Kenneth's babyhood progressed...he was handed off from one person to another.
And we'll jump ahead to his birthday.
When he grew up his bladder needed to be emptied desparately, so Ericka took him to the potty before I fixed him up. But as you can see, he looks just like Octavia.
And here he is with better clothes and hair. Kenneth is a Scorpio (75/9/4/1), and his Predestined Hobby is Sports.
He's a real cutie.
Aw.
He's so cute that everyone wants to play with him all the time. Can't you see he's tired, Ericka? Put him down and let him go to sleep.
What have we here? Looks like trouble to me.
Luckily the good officer was able to catch the guy. But see little Kenneth there? They're fighting OVER him. That cannot be safe.
On the last day of the rotation, Ericka's time was up.
:( She was pretty great for a Romance Sim, and I'm going to miss her.
Langeraks
This is pretty much the norm for this household.
Oh, hey, Raymond? Your wife just went into labor over there.
And the last baby of the generation is a girl, who shall be called Lucy.
She got daddy's black hair and mommy's blue eyes.
And because babies are boring, let's make her into a toddler.
Ah! She looks just like mommy. Lucy is a Libra (5/9/3/8/7), and her Predestined Hobby is Fitness.
Since Raymond's been working towards his LTW, Mildred's been the one teaching Lucy her toddler skills.
Hutchins
I'd forgotten how much I've used the artist career reward camera to take pictures for this family. I'm glad. It makes me miss Henri, Meadow, and Phily a little less.
Of course, some people are still feeling the loss of Phily. Poor Jane.
Hey Asher, instead of complaining about the stink, how about changing Edith's diaper?
See, she smells good once you clean her up.
Birthday time!
Here she is as a toddler. She's another Scorpio (10/3/9/10/1), and her Predestined Hobby is Games.
Edith really is the apple of Grandpa Victor's eye.
Time for another birthday!
Uh, Jane? No one's had a chance to eat that yet.
But Edith says that's okay. She'll just show off for Asher instead.
Here she is with a makeover. A pretty good blend of both her parents.
She's a real cutie.
I forgot to get a picture of it, but Asher was arguing with Vivian about something, and Edith ran out of the room. Poor baby.
And we'll wrap up with Vivian teaching Edith to study. Yes, it's a computer. I needed to buy Vivian a hat last rotation (and I've made hats into jewelry so I can have them wear them only with outerwear), and I didn't want to waste time going to a community lot.
