Messing with SimPE...

Jun 09, 2011 15:53

I have an idea for a scene for the next chapter that requires a prop.  I have, however, been unable to find CC that matches the prop I have in mind.  So I decided to create it myself.

See what is now on the lawn of the Thayer/Hutchins house?

That looks pretty cool though. I can see it being totally possible to use it as a picket sign with OMSPs and creative posing :D

Thanks! I'm fiddling with removing the cloth-like background 'cause I'm not a fan, but Photoshop is pissing me off right now.

And from one of the queens of creative posing, that is great encouragement indeed.

Actually, here are some pose boxes that might help you:

It's Pose Boxes #2 and #3, the umbrella poses and subway poses (scroll down the page to see them). Not to mention there are some really cute poses with couples and children :D

In fact, I believe I have this person's entire Pose Box library and I use them quite often (you might recognize them).

Thanks! And yes, some of those poses look *very* familiar.

I came to post about your sign and left with two pose boxes. ^_^ I wouldn't even know what to touch in simPE to make a thing, so good for you, it looks good. :D

Funny how that works, huh? It actually wasn't too hard. I took a sign I found on MTS (http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=179287), and used a tutial that dicreasy put up on recoloring pictures a while ago (http://dicreasy.livejournal.com/69921.html). It's how I made the family portrait that's hanging in the music room. I really wanted the sign for a scene with Phily, and I knew I'd never find anything like it, so I tried to make it. Still going to play with the background texture, but I'm very impressed with myself.
