Legacy Update
It's been a week since I posted Chapter 2, so I thought I'd share what's going on in Simerica.
I've played 2 more seasons (Fall & Winter) in all three of the households (Bradford, Gavigan, & Thompson). Lots has gone on. Phineas and Nicole now have a set of twins (Rebecca and Richard). Nicole is still one of the most annyoing sims I have every played. She rolled Family as her secondary aspiration, and not once has she rolled up a want to interact with her kids. She just wants STUFF (my biggest pet peave of Fortune sims).
Rhoda and Roger (Primrose & Isaiah's kids) are teens. Rhoda rolled Romance (she may get played as a Scarlett O'Hara type), and Roger rolled Knowledge (love him!).
And in the main household, I'm sad to report that both my founder and his wife have died. John died at 84 Sim days old, and Chris the next night at 77 Sim days. I was very sad to see John go; he was a great founder and despite being a fortune sim he didn't roll a lot of stuff wants. Just wanted to be promoted. Chris was a good founder's spouce, but she got very grumpy as an elder.
I also went in and redecorated a dorm for my female sims. Yes, they get to go to college this generation. Mrs. Seymours' Boarding House will house them for the first 2 years, and then they'll more into a private house.
And rather than spend a whole day redecorating the lots on the default downtown, I went in and build a custom one of my own. Granted, I pulled a lot of lots from existing 'hoods (Belladonna Cove), but it looks really good and will suit my purposes. What I'd really like is to find a dock/harbor lot, but I can't seem to locate one.
So now, I have about 300 pics to sort through, and then I'll get writing on Chapter 3. Lots of day-to-day stuff will happen, not so much plot. That will probably come when Gen. 3 goes to college.
