Playing a legacy is a lot of fun for me. I love the stories that I come up with in my head for my characters, and watching how the genetics play out.
Now that I'm documenting my legacy with a story, I'm realizing how challenging the process is.
For example, I played through Generation 2's departure for college. I took a ton of photos, sorted them, and dumped them into a PowerPoint. I've been working on writing up the story captions tonight, and I'm finding that, for story purposes, I don't have the photos I need. Grr...
So that means going back into the game tomorrow after work (WAY to tired to even attempt that tonight), and doing some shooting before I can get Chapter One out. I don't mind the photo taking, but I kinda wish that I had gotten it out of the way when I was playing the last time.
To other Legacy authors: do you shoot first, write later, or write later, then shoot the necessary pics for your story. I'm trying to figure out what will work best for me, and opinions are welcome.
