(no subject)
Today was okay.. I had to wake up early to go to the doctor. Then I went to my parents' shop and hung out for a while.. went to lunch with them, and then went and picked up my paycheck and cashed it. It was a lot more than I had expected.. which was a nice surprise. Then I went and got gas and came home.
I had planned on finding something to do tonight because I was off work (for once!) but it seems everyone else already had plans. I ended up hanging out with Jennifer and her boyfriend, Danny.
I met them over by the new mall and I was hungry so I got some food from Guthrie's and Jenn helped me eat it. After that we just like sat in the parking lot and talked for a long while. We saw Stephanie and Rachel there and they laughed at us for sitting in the grass. We finally decided to go over to Wendy's apartment (near Lakebottom Park) since she's gone to ATL for the weekend and gave me a key in case I wanted to hang out there. We just chilled and watched TV and then went home. Not a whole lot of excitement, but better than nothing I suppose.
I had a pretty long drive home and I came to realize something.. I miss having God in my life. I used to go to church, but then it seemed like it became more about going to church to see friends than to worship God, and I didn't like that.. so I quit going. I never really tried going anywhere else after that, I'd just go occasionally with a friend or something. Now I really miss having a relationship with God. I'm just not quite sure how to get back into the groove of it all.. but I really want to. I suppose I'll figure it out someday.
Last thing before I go to bed.. IF ANYONE WOULD LIKE TO HANG OUT TOMORROW (SATURDAY) NIGHT.. CALL MY CELL AT 566-5824. Leave a message if I don't answer! :)
