Gestern und Heute
Yesterday
I visited St. Mary's University, and the campus was so clean and beautiful. The people were very nice and the dorms are pretty big. The thing i was most impressed with was the class size. The classes I went to had no more that about 13 people. I was told that the largest class that is offered is Freshman Biology, which i won't be taking. Biology is what the school is mostly known for. In upper level classes the average number drops to 9 or 10 ppl. The food is great and like I said before the campus is Beautiful!!!! So that is where I'm going to college.
I spoke with the band director and he said that If i were to join 1 ensemble and join the pep band, he would give me $1,000 a semester, which is 2,000 a year combined with my presidential scholarship it equils about $8,000 per year, not including FAFSA. The bad thing is i have to work up my solo's again for the audition tape. But the good thing is I don't have to play any scales cause I told him I was section leader. Good think i talk too much. :)
On a different note, i told my job that Monday would be my last day. My manager was pissed cause i didn't give her more notice. But i couldn't cause i wasn't sure i had the job, and i didn't want to give notice and then not get the job. So yeah....
Today
My orientation went well and I got the job. Everyone is nice and this job is great. I get $7.30 and hour and I found out that on Sundays I get and extra dollar, so on Sundays it's $8.30. I am very excited about this job, and best of all Peresha works there too!!! so we can gossip and things like that. We have the same hours so that is good. I also got a free SAM's card. so thats' good. So i guess im about to write my letter of resignation, and then movies possibly.
