a few things I have recently realized

In semi-random order:

• It is still possible to be completely surprised by things in the world.
• Not all surprises are bad ones.
• It's a good thing I love what I do, because it's not slowing down any time soon.
• I like the way long hair looks on me.
• I'm not nearly as fond of the work long hair takes, but I'll deal.
• I should probably quit posting random list items and go to sleep.
