some say the world will end in fire / some say ice
It was 1 degree F when I got to work this morning, after spending almost 45 minutes making what's normally a 15-20 minute trip. You see, below a certain threshold, deicing chemicals don't work.
The expected high today is 5F. The news is reporting that this is the coldest day in Denver in 100 years.
If anyone needs me, I'll be curled inside my three layers at my desk. Until I have to drive across the city for a meeting this afternoon, that is.
