I've used this subject line enough now that I am thinking about giving it a tag of its own....
Anyway! I am so envious of all of you who have today off. Evidently having President's Day as an actual holiday is a lot more common than I realized or remembered? Over here, our state employees have the holiday, but city employees don't, for reasons that no one seems able to explain. Private companies either do or don't depending on whim and the phase of the moon, or something.
I'm using the time to catch up on a few things, since it seems like it'll be a quiet day. Step one: write interview guide, at least a basic one, for the interview I'm conducting at 1:30.
It's a good thing I like talking to people and hearing their stories. I'm going to be doing it five times this week alone.
In other news, I am endlessly amused that I just received an application announcement regarding a U.S. - Russia peer to peer collaboration program. I won't be applying, but the fact that the program exists delights me to no end.
