I had intended to make a long and rambly post today about all the plans I have for the next 3 months and the following year, to talk the spring snowstorm outside and about my birthday just past and the latest ridiculousness with my cat and just to catch up with everyone in these online spaces --
-- and then I saw the news today, and spent the next hours watching events in Boston unfold through Twitter and Facebook and all over social media, waiting for friends and their families to check in safe and all the while a part of me remembering that the Boston Marathon has always been on my "dream goals to do" list, and thinking about how much joy I find in running, and... and.
Anyway.
So. I don't think I'll be posting any of that today.
But I'll be back tomorrow.
In the meantime -- all love and good wishes to the people of Boston tonight, and tomorrow, and in all the days to come.
