Last night I was tired from a business trip and the aftermath of a migraine the day before, and toying very very vaguely with the idea of maybe, just maybe, waiting until the next day to watch SPN.
And then I got an email from
varadia that said, basically, "WATCH THIS LIVE IF YOU CAN."
So I did.
(Cut-text from episode title song lyrics, oh yes.)
AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH OMG SHOW HI THERE YOU ARE.
ALSO, OW MY HEART.
I'm running late for work already, so this is going to hit a few of the high points only:
* Anna and Castiel together again, but OH how things have changed.
* "Sam Winchester must die." AUGH.
* Sam can't stop staring at the mother he doesn't remember. My already cracked heart shattered again right there.
* And MARY takes on the angel -- MARY WINCHESTER, EVER AND ALWAYS MADE OF AWESOME. Forever and ever and ever.
* Parents in the front of the Impala, the boys in the back. Most awkward family vacation EVER.
* I WANT that Campbell family home. Failing that, I want to see it again, and I am betting we will.
* Sam and Mary working together; Dean and John doing the same. Flashes of the man young!John becomes. Oh. Oh yes.
* Sam talking to John and saying all the things he never got to say to his dad when he was alive. (And with that, my shattered heart crumbled into tiny shards, and I started crying. Yes I did.)
* And then HI ANNA again, and OW NO SAM YOU DO NOT DIE AGAIN STOP THAT--
... wait, that's not John anymore. That's. MICHAEL.
And from there I dissolve into incoherence, because DAMN did the actor deliver that role brilliantly, and the scene between Michael and Dean-- I'll just be over here flattened against the wall and utterly blown away. Utterly. blown. away.
* "Angels are watching over you, Dean." SO much more creepy now than when we first heard it, back in season ONE. So much more.
* Ow, Cas. Poor guy's in bad shape. Would tea help? Maybe?
* TEAM FREE WILL. GO TEAM GO.
Yes, posting this made me a little late for work. I don't care! Is it next Thursday yet?
