Dear Yuletide Santa--
Hi! First off, you are utterly fabulous for volunteering to write one of my prompts; I'm really looking forward to it! This note is to let you know that I will get a proper letter up with more details in a couple of days, I promise. In the meantime, should you have any specific questions, anonymous commenting is enabled. Thanks!

It's amazing how much time can be taken up by chasing down all the details of real estate transactions, not to mention the entire packing experience, and let's not forget the standard routine of work, graduate school, and fandomish things. That sort of thing makes for some seriously busy days, I can promise you!
By and large they're good ones, though, so I'll take it.

I have new socks. This is all
neenie's fault for introducing me to
Sock Dreams, but if you aren't afraid to risk sock addiction, that site has some truly wonderful things.

I also have a new fandom. Thanks to
phoenixchilde, I've been watching Numb3rs-- how did I MISS this show for four-plus seasons? How? (I even changed my LJ name in response to it, which is something I don't do that often.)

Finally, I have new dragon hatchlings. Aren't they cute?
The first one is a paper dragon. Envision something that's like a piece of living origami, and you've got the idea. I think it's lovely, like a fragile little sculpture. The second one is a vine dragon-- sneaky but strangely glorious.
Now I'm off to emulate the White Queen and imagine six impossible things well before breakfast, through hopefully interesting dreams.
