"Hang in there, baby!"
(This is actually just a test to see if you watch "Sarah Connor Chronicles." ;-) )

I don't watch it, actually. *grin* Should I be?

J votes Yes. I say, depends. I was a total "T2" freak, so anything "Terminator" highlighting Sarah Connor taking care of the fate of the world by protecting and training John and kicking SkyNet ass where need be is gonna be good with me. It also features another storytelling device I enjoy, time travel and its risks of paradox.
Summer Glau as a mysterious, allegedly reprogrammed Terminator whose exact motives and specs are not clear is just added fun.

I think I tried watching the pilot and was left with some confusion, but I loved the character of Sarah Connor as played by Linda Hamilton. She's not the one who's cast here, though, I'm betting.

I'll add it to the list to take a look at. I'm seeing enough buzz to be curious, and the recommendations from you two just amplifies that.

There is a *lot* of storytelling they crammed into the pilot. It's best seen after watching "T2" and doing your best to forget that "T3" ever occurred, like it's on an alternate timeline. Then you have to accept all the narrative bits that force them to time travel with Glau from 1999 to 2007. They seriously rely on you knowing the "Terminator" world and history-that-is-to-come in terms of SkyNet's apocalypse.
They seem to have borrowed some themes from "BSG," too. Or is it the other way around? ;-)
