let's recap, shall we?

It is just now eight AM, and I have had the following mishaps already this morning:

1) Slipped in the shower. Did not fall through glass shower door, but did wrench shoulder and bruise hand while grabbing things for support in order not to do so.

2) Discovered after starting a load of laundry that there was evidently damage of some sort to one

Awwww! Hope the day gets better! Do stay away from sewer grates and also giant meat forks.

At least it's shoe-down-sewer grate luck, and not conveniently-placed-barbeque fork?

Yikes! I have, in fact, fallen though a glass shower door, with remarkably little damage, but it was scary as all hell, so I'm glad you managed to avoid that.

...if you lose a shoe down a sewer grate, don't believe any clown down there who promises to give it back if you'll just reach for it.

Would make the day very much worse.
