Marvel comics and Stephen King have joined forces to bring out a six-issue Dark Tower comic, with art by Jae Lee. The first issue will be out in April 2006, which is not all that far away and yet entirely too long to wait. I cannot wait. In point of fact I am quite ready to start bouncing off the walls again. Jae Lee is an incredible artist and is apparently also a DT fan, which gives me great hope for the work. And of course, the story is all Stephen King. :)
But while I'm talking about DT stories, I'll also take a moment to recommend the lovely work of jezrana and zarahemla, who are doing fanfic100 in the categories of DT: Cuthbert Allgood and DT: General Series respectively. Keep an eye on those two, y'all. Jez's master table is here, with links to three things already finished, and Zara's first post of completed fics (no master update site yet) is here.
