if there's anyone out in these tubes we call the internets reading this, i am still alive. i've spent most of the last four months with some sort of illness or in doctors offices. the rest of the time i've been a) working, b) sleeping, or c) working while half asleep.
i had dual ear infections in may that caused bloody goo to leak out of my head for about two weeks.
i had eight weeks of physical therapy for my back because the pain i've had for years finally got the best of me. it helped a little, but not enough for me to continue paying hundreds of dollars to go there every week.
i spent my john mayer concert in a dallas emergency room throwing up and in severe pain while nurses ignored me for three hours before finally giving me some damn pain medications. i'm still a bit bitter about that. and the following three weeks of coming-and-going pain.
now, i think i'm all right. there's still back pain, but not enough to do anything about it. i have spent most of my summer not going out for any of those three reasons and the fact that i'm busy. i haven't been to a show that i wasn't working at since april, though i just bought jack's mannequin tickets for october.
so hello, dear friends who may or may not remember me. i am still alive. i've thought about coming back to lj often over the last few months, but never had the time, the energy or the motivation to actually get on a computer to type something. i can't say whether i'll be spending more time here, but i just wanted to pop in and say hello and i hope everyone is doing well.
oh, and i now live with a boy.
