my winter break to-do list

Dec 08, 2005 12:15

these are a list of things i would like to do over the break. since i am making a list, the likelihood i will do them is very slim. it always seems to work out that way.

- clean my apartment and figure out a way to get through a school week without my backpack exploding

- re-write what's in existance of fallen past redemption so it's an original fic with original characters in preparation for using it as my starting point for the fic i will have to write for class next semester (if i'm allowed to)

- rent and watch the following videos: night watch, la boheme, strictly ballroom, the phantom of the opera, rock and roll high school

- watch lotr and explore the special bonus stuff on all those extra discs

- catch up on my books including: anansi boys, the snow garden, dracula, the big over easy, the rest of the thursday next series, a series of unfortunate events

- work on ff10 some more

i don't typically buy movies in general, especially not on the day of their release, but rumor has it mirrormask will be released on jan. 10. which gives me time to buy it, watch it repeatedly late at night and obsess over dave mckean's art before school starts back. then, if money permits, there's the corpse bride on jan. 31. edit: apparently amazon thinks mirrormask comes out on feb. 7. curious. **wanders off to mr. gaiman's blog**

the writing will most likely occur while i'm at home if things are too chaotic. the reading will probably start today if i get my article written in the amount of time i'm thinking it's going to take to write it. off to get dressed, start on the cleaning and will probably go to c&s' around two-ish to watch last night's alias. might try to go to kohl's and circuit city too, but that'll depend on light, temperature and icey stuff.

to-do list, vacation, fallen past redemption, mirrormask, release schedule, writing, school
