Little pointless Eric/Crys

Eric sat in his car, entranced by the vision before him. She was walking down the street with a large man dusky man. She was beauty, the way her hair caught the sun, throwing off a thousand sparks of light, the way her leather pants clung to the curve of her hip. The way she laughed as she passed unknowingly close to his car.

Her power reached out to him, stroking the energy in his shields making him tremble briefly, she was everything. As her head turned back in his direction, and their eyes met for the briefest of moments he gasped at the shock of something intense. His soul screamed in recognition of hers. Come back we belong . . .

Eric shook his head at his own foolishness. She’s just an extraordinarily beautiful woman; that does not mean you have some sort of mystical connection. Get over yourself. She does not look like to type to fall for someone like you. You are only in St. Louis for a week; Faith would not take kindly to this distraction. Ignore her, you don’t know her, she isn’t worth fighting about.

That thought firmly in mind he pulled away from the bank and headed out onto the road . . . trailing her. But then again I might be wrong.

One week later

“You’re right little bro” Faith said an odd tone in her voice as she watched the women they’d learned was called Crystal walk into the Circus. “She is amazing, she sets off every Slayer bell I have . . .”

“But . . . “

“But she has something else too, something . . . special.” She turned to look at him lifting an eyebrow. “So this is the chick you’ve been stalking?”

“I am not stalking her . . .”

“Following her around, painting her, talking about her as though you know her, sneaking in her room at night . . .nope not stalking at all.” Faith smirked.

“Sis . . . “he said with a warning tone.

“Oh shut up and go after her, you know you want to.”

He glared at her for a moment more before giving in and heading for the door.

Faith watched with a smile as her brother walked into the Circus. “God I hope he gets the
balls to talk to her; they’d make a cute couple.”
