[The threat of the Silentium invasion may be looming for everyone on Earth, but it's still Valentines Day.  And being too high-strung doesn't do anyone any good.  Which is why Subaru and Teana are off on a date.

Nope. I... got a little distracted with things but I'm okay now.

[And with that she presents the chocolates to Teana.]

These're for you. I know Valentine's Day is when girlfriends are supposed to give chocolates to their boyfriends, but well... I thought better to play it safe.

O-Of course! This was a special day so I really focused and it all worked out in the end!

[What Subaru's not admitting is she bought multiple boxes, enough so that she hoped she'd lose her craving before she ran out of unopened boxes.]

So anyways, we all ready?

Right, let's go! Hold on tight, we'll be driving fast.

It's no problem. And don't worry, I'm used to going fast all the time!

[And with that, Subaru gets in one of the most wonderful positions ever devised, together with Teana and ready to just enjoy the day with her without worrying about the looming threat of one last alien invasion and whatnot.]

[The bike zooms along the road on a coastway. Because there is always one.]

Hey, Subaru. Want to go to town first, or somewhere more natural? We still have these chocolates to eat.

[Subaru feels her stomach turn a little bit at the idea of eating more chocolate. Yes, even for here there's such a thing as too much of a good thing. Best she can hope for now is to stall long enough for her appetite for them to return.]

Let's go some place quiet. He can always go to the town whenever we want and it'd be nice to get some fresh air. There's more than just Tokyo here in Japan.

Right! Let's enjoy the peace.

[Finding a place that fits this description shouldn't be too hard. Something with trees, a clear sky, peaceful and quiet.]

Time to relax then. Let's try some of these chocolates out...

[Doing her best to work through the discomfort, Subaru smiles. This is nothing compared to her abuse at the hands of Nanoha, after all.]

It's nothing big. Just... been a while since I've been on a motorcycle.

Anyways, you were talking about must supress urge to shudder trying some of the chocolates?

Yes, time to try the chocolates! You didn't eat a single one of them so I'm sure you wonder how they taste. And since you were so strong to hold it off until now, I will let you have some.

Hmm... let's try this pistacchio one...

[So much for hoping to get out of this with a careful case of Death Note-style misleadings. Well, she still has one little option left to play.]

[Very carefully, Subaru takes one of the pieces and breaks it in half before handing one of the halves to Teana again.]

No appetite, Subaru? Maybe you really are sick... is everything alright?

[This is pointless. When she doesn't have a good reason to be upset, Teana can be so nice and caring. She's just going to keep asking until things get serious.]

I kinda ate a little extra chocolate something to keep me occupied from the chocolates just to be safe. It's not really agreeing with my stomach if you'd believe it.

[There. Enough of a truth that Teana would stop pressing the subject or giving her chocolate, but enough of a lie to still save face.]
