Covered in BEES!!
So, yesterday I stripped and bedded three stalls. I just have one thing to say. I hate hornets. And ants. Okay, that was two. But I do, I hate them. GUH. Yeah, apparently there was an ant nest in the shavings bin and I dumped about half of it into the wheelbarrow. Fun stuff. So now huge, I mean HUGE ants are crawling all over the place. PLUS we have hornets building a nest somewhere in our barn and they're territorial. ::hates things that go "bzzzzzzzt":: Luckily we also have some bumblebees which will hopefully encourage the hornets to go away. On the bright side I discovered a toad family also living in the bin. They were cute. Okay, probably not a family but there were four of them. :P
