i like how at the beginning of a new year, one may say, "but that was a year ago!" & know that one is talking about what was just a few days ago.
"i haven't seen you since last year!"
"i know! it's been forever."

Q: people, things, events... feeling a certain feeling, acting a certain way, experiencing... why do we miss? why must we miss?
