how bout where i left off?
monday night i went over to the tre (short for trailer. i think ive spelled it 'tray' before, but i like this way better) to return some things i had borowed from tiffany and tyler (im going to stop calling him The Crush. how stupid is that? the 2 people that actually read this thing know very well what his name is!). i was starving, so tiffany and i ran to carls jr to get some grub. i went back to the tre to eat and hung out w/ tiff for a while... of course tyler got brought up (by her, not me) and she gave me some more advice on how to go about things with him. she said she would try to talk to him...
4:50pm Wednesday, ten minutes before i get off work, Nick called me. "Hey! this is the earliest ive ever gotten off work so i was wondering if you wanted to have dinner with me! How does sushi sound...?" well, i had never had sushi before, but free food with a cute boy!?!?! im not one to say no! after changing clothes and sprucing up at home, i drove out to his house (practically other side of town!). i am not a big fan of fish, so needless to say i didnt really enjoy the sushi. i tolerated it, and if i had to do it again there was one thing on the menu i actually enjoyed... nick was very polite and helpful, and did all of the ordering. afterwards we went back to his place, where i met his roommate and watched soccer. roommate seems like a very cool girl! nick and i were on the same couch the whole time, but didnt really cuddle or anything. it was ok tho. we were comfortable. so the 3 of us just sat around and watched tv for a couple hours. his roommate and i were picking out the cute boys on the team and nick said to her "you should like #4, he can be your boyfriend" then he looked at me and said "you arent allowed to have any boyfriends" whoa... he also kept saying things like "you're going to have to get used to this" and when he walked me out to my car, after giving me a hug and a kiss on the cheek, he said "next date will be on your side of town." thats a lot of alluding to the future...
so nick is a fun guy. he's talkative, and friendly. he has blonde curly hair and blue eyes and NICE legs (he is, after all, a soccer player!)
nick also sent me a text message last night (thurs), thanking me for going to dinner and watching "the best game ever invented" with him the night before...
Last night was TGIFridays night (we go every thursday!)...
tiffany called me beforehand to work out a place to meet up, and of course she brought tyler up again. she talked to him and it was confirmed... he does indeed like me. but its weird. and he's got some things to work out before he even attempts anything with me. what kind of things, you ask? good question... i guess he wants to talk to Erik about it, and he has some personal things he wants to "take care" of (whatever that means)... i guess he's worried that a couple months into it i wont like him anymore. he said "sure, she likes my personality now, but what if she doesnt 2 months from now?" tiffany told him she doesnt expect him to marry me, for cripesake! she told him just to take me out, see if we are even compatible, take things slow. i told her that im not looking to have a boyfriend come tomorrow, i would just like to get to know him on a more personal level...
then we all went to Fridays and things were fine. we ate and talked, then parted ways. nothing exciting...
the weekend is here, which is when things go down (you know, when everyone is intoxicated and fearless). we'll see what happens...
