Not only is the Empire evil, it's stupid, too
So I get a letter in the mail today from my former employer (aka the Evil Empire). Observe teh stupid.

Dear Former Associate,
The purpose of this letter is to verify your current mailing address as we prepare W-2 forms for year 2005.
If you had an address change during the past year, please update your address so that we may ensure proper delivery of your W2 forms.
*Changes must be made no later than 01/18/2006*
WTF? Let's think about this for a sec... they're sending this to the last mailing address they had on file. If it's changed, don't they realize it's going to take time to get forwarded to where I am now? And yet they allow only 7 days for me to receive it AND inform them of the change, when it's taken almost 2 weeks for me to get it.
Oh, and they didn't even mail it until the 13th.
Idiots.
Have I ever mentioned how happy I am to be out of there? Painful though it is to no longer be surrounded by such brilliance. Yeesh.
