You can all rejoice, I am back from London town in one piece!
I had a lovely time with
hidi99 even if she is a terrible tour guide and doesn't know what anything is LOL (Bless you, Sara!)
So after she'd met me at the station we went shopping for a while, had a nice meal and then we went to see
Gone With The Wind: The Musical which was absolutely wonderful, I've always loved Darius Danesh so maybe I'm a bit bias but the rest of the cast were amazing as well especially the black slaves, some very powerful voices in there. It actually made me cry (a tragic event occurs in the musical) and I'm fine with crying at things, it was just slightly embarrassing crying on the front row with the cast occasionally looking at me with an 'Awwwww' in their eyes. I didn't mind Darius looking at me though, he is still so god damn sexy...his eyes just burn through you, its shiver worthy!
Sunday I stayed in bed for quite a while watching the marathon hoping to see Harry or Chappers but sadly saw neither ::very sad face:: Sara came round about 12pm and we headed over to Earls Court to see the Doctor Who exhibition which was fun but could have been a bit more interactive in my opinion. From there we went and had another meal before going to her house to watch the rest of Doctor Who that we'd missed the night before (Donna Noble I ♥ you!) and then we headed back out into London to Hammersmith Apollo to see THE Mr John Barrowman who really is the most born entertainer that there ever was, his voice is so powerful and clear and he's just so much fun to watch you can't help but enjoy yourself!
This morning wasn't fun for multiple reasons, mostly being the fact I woke up at 04:15, my back hurt from the crappy mattress on the bed, it was 04:15, the guy at check out barely spoke English and took ages to check me out, it was 04:15, the taxi I'd booked the night before didn't turn up (although the concierge guy was nice and think actually ran to get me one because I was late), it was 04:15 and then to top it off I was at Paddington where they found Mark Speight hanged yesterday...I was glad to get on that train and out of there even though by this point it was 05:35 and I really really wanted to be asleep.
So right now I'm very tired and kind of achey from the stupid bed and all the walking I've done this weekend but I had a great time and Chappers is on the Radio in five minutes, so life isn't bad.
