why your playlist so sad

I got a head-start on my new years resolution to exercise more in November (so maybe its just me trying to make a life change), and been finally using the gym here in the complex. I saw a couple motivational speakers last week (not by myself, silly- Paul took me along for his business club thing) and one said people need concrete goals to achieve otherwise they won't take action. SO. My concrete goals are to run a sub 21 minute 5K by my next birthday-- which shouldn't be THAT hard-- and to have a girl six-pack. We'll see.

Anyways, I noticed I am kind of a freak when it comes to the music I work out to- I may in fact be the only person who listens to sad, why'd-you-break-up-with-me or omg-I-am-so-sickeningly-in-love-with-you music at the gym.

Beatles - Something
Steve Conte - No Reply
Beatles - The Long and Winding Road
Beatles - Because (Love Version)
The Faunts - m4, part II
Massive Attack - Teardrop
Beatles - Blackbird
Aqualung - Pressure Suit
Kristian Leontiou - Story of my Life (thanks Pandora!)

lol, what is this emo work out music

Haven't heard back from Perfect World yet, and yes, I did already try following up, AND there will be a cake post soon-- it's fondant!
