this was a triumph

It seems that after I whine public on the interwebs, those problems I was just complaining about somehow fix themselves right away.

I checked with the IRS website, and they're aware of the fatty refund I received. I guess I did something wrong that they fixed (like majorly wrong), but I'm not complaining about getting more money than I expected.

I talked to my work, and the direct deposit wasn't working because the account number was missing the last digit, so they just wrote me checks to cover the amount I was owed.

And then! I sold my car and put all that money towards paying off my student loan.

A while back, I thought I wanted to start game blogging. So I made an account at destructoid, and my first venture out was pretty much a spectacular failure. :D Part of the problem is 90% of video game blogs these days reposts news from other sites. It seems like blogging is more keeping track of what's said and from where. A blog should have a point, so I think instead of trying to compete with people who's job it is to repost news (or have nothing better to do), I'll just keep it around to show off game related crafts/baking. I have a plan to make a Portal cake at some point and to build a Tetris block bookshelf, someday. But yeah, I think I was trying to get internet famous or something, which everyone knows is a bad idea. Anyways, I'm better now!

However, I'm still on the fence about my internship, and I'm on week seven!
