Soothe
Pairing: Skyserpent General Rughadjeen x Flameserpent General Gadalar x Waterserpent General Mihli
Rating: NC-17
Summary: General Gadalar had been gravely wounded in battle during a city siege. Although the Mamool Ja forces have retreated without the Astral Candescense, resulting in a victory for Aht Urgan, his pride had been shaken and he refuses to see Waterserpent General Mihli for treatment. Perhaps Rughadjeen can convince him.

"I'm fine, seriously, I wish to be left alone."

"Gadalar, open up." The command was quickly answered; not minutes ago had General Rughadjeen himself shown up at Gadalar's door, knocking and asking for the Flameserpent to answer.

"No! And with all due respect: Go away!"

Gadalar growled, hunched over on his bed. Damned if his pride hurt more than the large wound he nursed on his abdomen. He stared at the blood coagulating on his gloves and pulled them off with disgust, throwing them into the opposite wall with a dull slap. The blood that stuck to the wall ticked him off further and he ground his teeth.

"Gadalar, please, you need to get your wound treated. Mihli is waiting." The Elvaan's deep voice was muffled through the wooden door, but the Hume could tell that Rughadjeen was ever-patient with that calm, calm tone.

"Rughadjeen, I swear by the Empress I will burn you if you don't leave me alone!"

"Stop acting like a child and open the door." Ah, perhaps the jab including mention of the Empress irked the Elvaan, Gadalar smirked slightly to himself.

"Hmph, Gadalar, I need to see yourrr wound-" Oh, so the Elvaan wasn't lying, and the Waterserpent general was there waiting, too.

"Will you two just leave me alone?! I'm fine! Really!" The Hume lept up from his bed in a huff, only to double over and make a sickened, pained sound- which to his horror- was quite audible. In fact, it hurt very, very much.

"Gadalar, we can hear you and you don't sound like you're 'fine'," Rughadjeen pressed, and Gadalar could swear he heard a dismissive "hmph" from the Mithra.

The hume remained silent for a moment longer, before that voice that was slowly rubbing him the wrong way rumbled through the door once more.

"We saw the war wyvern grab and throw you. Your blood spraying everywhere didn't seem like play-acting, Gadalar."

"Open up, please." Mihli's voice followed, pressing, growing impatient.

"Fine, fine; you two just won't leave me alone if I don't, huh-" Gadalar stomped to the door, unlocking and yanking it open. He winced visibly when pulling his arm back tugged at the wound in his midsection, and was greeted with knowing glances from the two on the other side.

Pissed, Gadalar glared daggers at the two before turning on his heel and stomping back into the room, allowing them entrance into his little "sanctuary".

Rughadjeen motioned Mihli into the room before crossing the threshold himself, shutting the door behind him.

The Hume continued to stand with his back towards the two generals, making no obvious move to assist or deny them the treatment.

"Gadalar, I need you to turn arrround," Mihli spoke, gently, reaching out to touch the other tentatively on the arm. The latter withdrew as if burned by the touch, casting about an angry, accusatory gaze.

"Don't touch-" Gadalar was interrupted by a very stern glare from the much taller Elvaan.

"Be reasonable, we're doing this for your own good."

"Hmph, unapprrreciative," Mihli rolled her eyes before removing her gloves and reached forward once more, tracing the tear in the Flameserpent's armor with her fingertips, "I may need you to remove this."

"What- Can't you just fix me right here?" Exasperated, Gadalar threw his amrs into the air before placing his hands stubbornly on his hips. "And what if I refuse?"

Mihli stared at him, equally exasperated, her own patience at ends.

"Well, then I'll have to do it for you." Gadalar turned to see Rughadjeen smiling at him, with a most disturbing 'you had better do it or I'm kicking your ass' smile.

Swallowing thickly, the hume cursed and mumbled discontentedly under his breath as he unhooked the red-and-gold armor he wore and settled it on the floor. He winced as he peeled the tunic and undershirt that had become matted with blood and sweat off his body, pulling slightly at the wound. Those, too, were discarded on the floor, as he didn't want to soil his home further with his blood.

"There, happy?" The Hume settled his hands on his hips again, an irked expression spread across his face. He was met with blank stares and he looked down at the tattered ruin that was the result of getting mawed by a war wyvern. "Daaamn. Okay, so it didn't look so bad when my clothes were still on."

Gadalar tried to shrug casually, as if it didn't hurt, but the truth of the matter was, it hurt like a bitch.

The Waterserpent reached out and prodded at the torn flesh. Gadalar practically jumped out of his skin with a hiss.

"By the Empress, woman, you don't have to poke like that!"

Mihli merely fixed him with an tired look, and reached out again, only to have the Hume worm away.

"Stop moving, Gadalar-" She growled, and he bit back with a huff.

"Not if you keep sticking your fingers in me like that- how is that healing me?!"

Gadalar suddenly found himself held from behind with strong arms hooking under his own to secure him in place. He had forgotten the third inhabitant of the room in his momentary fear of pain.

"Wha- Damnit, let go! Nngh, you dick!" Rughadjeen held onto the Hume resolutely as the smaller male squirmed and tried to break from his grip.

"I won't until you stop acting like a spoilt child and let Mihli take care of that wound- look you're opening it up more-" The Elvaan observed as fresh blood began to leak from the tooth-marks that littered Gadalar's abdomen.

The Hume calmed down, but not without a final squirm in an attempt to break out of Rughadjeen's grip, to no avail.

"Hmmm... Well it's a good thing it's not too deep.." Mihli mumbled to herself as she closed her eyes and began to chant. Her hands took on a glow that was familiar to any mage who had studied white magic.

"Hmph-" Gadalar turned away, a scowl drawn across his lips.

A sudden warm, yet strangely cool sensation enveloped his body and his eyes darted down to watch, mesmerized, as Mihli's hands pressed against his bare skin and moved up and down to trace the tears in his flesh, healing each one by one.

It was a strange, strange feeling to experience flesh growing back into place. He made a small sound in the back of his throat and tried to squirm away- it was too weird- only to realize he had been rubbing back against Rughadjeen, who was very quiet through the whole ordeal. Gadalar tried to sit still.

"It's almost done." Mihli informed him, but the feeling of his muscles practically crawling was horrifying him more than it was making him feel relieved. "Rughadjeen, turn him arrround, please."

"Huh?"

Gadalar suddenly found himself manhandled, and his face pressed into the Skyserpent's chest, and he stiffened in shock.

"Thank you-"

"It is no problem." He could feel each word rumbling from the Elvaan's chest with his nose buried in it, and he panicked at the close proximity.

He would've tried to cast Flare or Fire on the Skyserpent general, but the strange healing sensations were back and they positively disgusted him. He writhed trying to break from Rughadjeen's grip once again, growling and panting in exertion.

Glancing up, Gadalar noticed that Rughadjeen had a very strained look on his face.
