Dangerous Dog Toy
So I don't post often, but for anyone with dogs, please, please read this!!
There have been several reports of a dangerous dog toy: The Four Paws Pimple Ball with Bell (Item #20227-001, UPC Code 0 4566320227 9). One site actually posted pictures and videos of their dog's injuries http://thechaistory.blogspot.com/2008/08/chai-story.html.
A couple other people online have reported issues with this toy. Based on the Chai posting alone, I believe it. Additionally, the flaw the owner describes makes sense: "While chewing on the toy, a vacuum was created and it effectively sucked his tongue into the hole in the ball. From speaking with my vet, this likely occurred because there is not a second hole in the ball preventing the vacuum effect from happening."
So, if you have this product in your home, get rid of it! Don't buy it. Tell others. Look at all your dog toys. Any toy with the same creation flaw could be a danger.
