Aspartame Inquiry
Hello All,
I just got this email from my mom regarding the dangers of Aspartame. Normally I go about researching these emails and quickly find they haven't got two legs to stand on but this time, it's not the same. I actually have found a book title in which the author tells her story regarding the affects of aspartame poisoning:

I haven't done anymore in-depth research beyond the "how many hits" and "are these book titles real" searches. I have sent out an email to my MD brother-in-law and will be talking to some Bio-Chem people I know soon.
In addition, I thought I would toss this out to you all and see if you have any information regarding this. I want to know if this is legit or not. Has anyone else heard anything on the dangers of Aspartame?
Beyond getting to the truth, I want you all to know that this issue has come up. Aspartame is in diet drinks and many other products and according to this article can be very dangerous due to chemical changes that take place when put through our systems. If this comes up ringing true, be careful! It has very negative health affects. I have lj-cut the email I received and placed it on the next entry because it is SO long. However, you might find it interesting - particularly if the accusation is valid. I'm posting this wide open in case friends or unknown readers have any input. Please, let me know.
