If you're on my friends list you may have noticed I comment far more than I post. I'm not after reciprocity: it's just my way. Occasionally, I post a comment made elsewhere that I want to keep in my journal, because, well, it’s a place to hoard my words.

Indeed; that poem is so full of love. What is it about tea and tenderness? There can be an intimacy to the act that allows you to almost comprehend the fetishisation of it in Japanese tea ceremonies.

Thanks for the link, something good to browse over when I'm wanting reading. If there's more like that it'll be worth the time.

I'd forgotten all about Ivor Cutler, thank you for reminding me of him. Peel used to play his stuff sometimes.

Yer, when asked as to what he attributed his continued success, he said, 'Two word..... John Peel.'
