So, why am I in on a Friday night? Well, I’ve got my party tomorrow and my flat is a fucking pig sty. Well, OK, it’s not a sty, but having not been cleaned since my return from Bangladesh, it’s in no shape for a ton of people to come around for party tomorrow. Tomorrow I’ll need to do some food and work out some kind of ‘teenage’ outfit to wear. It’s so long ago, that I can’t quite remember what I actually did want to be then (other than a vet). I had no desire to replicate what I saw on TV and I guess I just wanted to be me, but a bit more comfortable with it, and surrounded by people who didn’t look at me strangely for being me.
But I’ve just got a call from the Contessa and the mad man, so I must go drinking instead. Life is hard.
