I should think it was actually a punishment for the crimes I've committed against this house.

Likely, he will become a Nobody again as well. If people are returning to their true forms, then yes, he will lose his heart once again.

Turning back to normal after becoming an animal of somesort is one thing, but I didn't think losing a heart (erm, again) is possible.
