Eradication of Idaho's Wolves

This is another reason why I have absolutely no faith in the integrity of the human race:
First we realize that wolf populations have been endangered due to human factors. Then we educate America on the importance of retaining a balance with nature, and try to debunk the "big bad wolf" stereotype. Next we release several packs of wolves into the wild in the hopes of saving the dying wolf populations. Finally, when we discover that the wolves have indeed bred and replenished their numbers, we let a state governor massacre them to preserve Idaho's elk-hunting tourist industry.

I wish I could live in a world where people don't play god for the sake of sport, righteousness, and capitalism.

In other news, I will officially take up residence in the Bucknell dorms tomorrow.
