long time no see it seems
And it has been over a year since I posted in my journal. What can I say other than that RP has taken over my brain. That and plurk. Though I'm going to try to post more regularly just because I've had this journal too long to get rid of it. But the short of what's gone on in both my online/fandom and offline life:
-This isn't new but the Koei Warriors games (Samurai Warriors/Dynasty Warriors/Warriors Orochi) have eaten my brain. I also enjoy Sengoku Basara, but to a much lesser extent. But while I'll definitely talk about other things, my current fandom interests lean far more in that direction!
-Have been reading on and off, though nothing really big to speak of. I do most of my reading on the treadmill, so it's in 30-15 minute bursts. I enjoyed the first three books of the Percy Jackson series. I tried the first Artemis Fowl book and was very unimpressed (sorry to anyone who does enjoy that series.) Trying to decide if I should reread Romance of the Three Kingdoms or start something new. I haven't been reading much manga lately, though it's not because of lack of interest, but pure flakiness. I'm hoping to change this soon.
-Right now I'm watching Kannazuki no Miko... which I'll probably need to rant about once I'm done. Going to watch Fist of the North Star next. Which will be interesting to say the least.
-In more real life news, I'm going back to school this fall, or rather I'm going to tech school. I need better opportunities in life and the bad economy combined with my lack of experience in well, a lot of things means that I'm really stuck. And I've cleaned people's rooms for far too long. So yes.
-Also, I'm moving. Sorta. Kinda. Late summer. Which is nice. But also nerve wracking.
-And well there's some family stuff that I am not going to talk about here because well yeah, some of that's too personal for a journal that's always leaned more towards the fandom side of things. But yes, hello.
And if you're wondering why I'm on here/only friended me back in the days when I was still interested in Gravitation and want to unfollow me, I won't take it personally. I know that interests change and friendslists get cluttered.
