[Anyone out around the festival in the evening in Violet might notice someone tall, slim, in a silver and lavender kimono, silver-opal hair partly done up, full makeup, and preened to the hilt; a slightly less dead looking than usual Feebas carried in one arm with gold ribbons running through his “fin”, while a Pidgeotto hops along behind.]

[Ritz is going to come out after she stops trying to set her Gear on fire with the power of her mind alone. She's... wearing her usual outfit, and has Mathis and Brenda following her.]

[He's being almost infectiously cheerful, and has managed to get a skewer of sweet dumplings.]

There's been three so far. It's rather hilarious.

[The infectious cheer is... well... infectious. As is laughing a little at people who can't tell the difference between Kuja and a woman.]

Oh, likely quite a few~ The real challenge would be how many didn't realize their mistake quickly.

I found a shop down one of the side streets; it's apparently traditional formal wear here - it's not far from here at all, if you were interested. [This is totally a moment that clarifies his gender identity. Really.]

[Clarifies. Yep. Uh-huh.] I kinda am! It's really pretty, and honestly, I do need more clothes... [Three sets of clothing is so not enough. Ever.]

Well then, there's only one way to solve this. [If you're not following you're getting sleeve-tugged towards the street where the shop is - which isn't very far from the festival.]

[Like she wouldn't be following. Really.] Obviously! [Ritz seems far too upbeat about clothes shopping. Yay clothes.]

[Which brings them soon enough to a small shop in Violet - one that's probably a little quieter now that the festival's actually in swing - with a lot of traditional robes and pretty things.]

[Of course, Kuja's wasting no timing on this one, finding a white silk kimono with a cherry-blossom print pattern, holding it up.] Would something like this work?

[Ooooo. It's pretty.] Yeah!

[Also, Kuja, you are totally awesome. How many girls can say they travel with a guy who has a decent sense of fashion and is just as bad as they are about clothes shopping?]

The silk might take some extra care when traveling, although by now I doubt we'd have much problem. [And lightweight fabric wouldn't be much to add to their packs...] I know they also had some lovely combs and ornaments for putting your hair up ... [At least, he's hoping this would be an exception to her fussing about hiding it - hats and hoods don't work so well with kimono...]

Yeah. We have enough giants on the team that they can do double-duty as packhorses. [Ritz visibly tenses at the topic of hair, then sighs.] I guess what I normally do with it would look silly.

It should be fine, for one night; and would honestly look quite lovely, particularly with fabric it would complement.
