[When the feed comes on, Kuja is sitting in a room, Karma in a water-basin that's big enough for the fish to at least be in water nearby, Miranda the Pidgey napping on a counter; he's got a sprawl of berries, a couple potions, and a few assorted things picked up from the larger shops in the city where it looks like he's taking notes on trying to ( Read more... )

[Don't mind the iconface, Kuja. She's always like this with people she remembers fighting.]

Take it to a Pokemon Center. The nurses there should be able to tell you how to handle it.

[So he's most likely used to it. Which is a good thing, because she's not letting up.]

Starting with the basics is better than pulling random suggestions out of a crowd. The nurses know what they're doing most of the time.

[Used to it, yes, happy with it, not really.]

My apologies, I seem to have offended you somewhere. [He sounds less apologetic and more unimpressed.]

[Well, no one's ever happy to receive a lineface. So Lightning will just sigh, shaking her head.]

Forget it. If you don't remember it doesn't matter. [And it wasn't so much of an offense, but...well, she ain't saying.]

Apparently it matters enough. I'm not going to pretend innocence, but I tend to prefer knowing how I've earned someone's hatred, particularly if it's someone that I don't remember encountering - and you don't dress like anyone from Alexandria, Madain Sari, or Lindblum.

[And if none of those are familiar to her, it at least gives him a ballpark idea to decipher that potential "future".]

That's because I'm not from any of those places. [Frowny face is better than Lineface. ...somehow.]

Do the names Cosmos or Chaos mean anything to you?

[He shakes his head slowly.] I've heard them once before - but it was since I came here, from a man named Kain. They're not something I've encountered previously.

[It does confirm the suspicion that it has something to do with that "future", at least.]

Then you probably haven't been in the Conflict. That's when we met and fought. [Which means he's from her past, and she's from his future. She thinks.]

No, I haven't; the last that I remember before this was my world. [And dying, which ... has him wondering about this "Conflict".] I know nothing of this war as yet but what little I've been told - which is that it ... will happen, I suppose, from when I am.

Then it doesn't matter until it happens and you end up in it. Just forget about it and see if the nurses can help your fish. [She says forget it and her face in nuetral, but...hard to shake off dislike for someone who tried to kill you.[

[As much as he can't say it doesn't bother him, it's at least better than the pitchforks and torches he'd expect if he were to show up back in his own world.]

I suppose that's the best I can do, then; there's not much that I can do about a possibility.

[He's not sure he cares for what the reactions of those from said "future" would imply.]
