[2nd Scene] [Action for Cherrygrove]

[This is a joint post between Ritz and Kuja; replies will come from either or both, if there’s a preference just specify in subject line!]

[The Cherrygrove Pokémon center is going to get an Entrance, courtesy of two certain new arrivals to Johto who’ve been stranded on Route 29, delayed by the storms and water swarms, and are now very much not ( Read more... )

[This is the remains of his dignity. He's trying very hard to keep it.]

Hopefully with less random torrential rainstorms. And a proper tent.

I haven't had to in the past, but I wouldn't be averse to it now -

We'd just need to acquire a tent first. [He holds up his slightly muddy bag disdainfully.] The beginning supplies don't exactly include much for inclement weather.

Likely; more time to prepare, and apparently predict the weather's whims. [Granted he's not quite as worn and messy as Ritz, for reasons he can't quite remember...]

[And then he sees the transfer - as much as it's unclear how much Zidane remembers, he's still actually looking out for Kuja, and that's something he's not used to. Not a bad not used to, but definitely a strange sensation.]

Ah - thank you. That definitely will help.

I'd imagine - the book they leave you with only goes so far.

[You're about the only person that'd get it, or at least hear it honestly.]

It certainly does look that way - ... [And there is quite a bit he'd like to ask about - but again, in public, in the middle of someplace like this, and over an open network isn't quite where he'd want to do it.]

Are storms like that a common occurrence here?

[video] Orz, sorry for the late/slow. silver_lucifer June 10 2011, 00:33:40 UTC
That doesn't surprise me - the wildlife alone could cause quite a few 'strange things' on their own, without any further prompting. [And you will never convince Kuja there AREN'T at least a few people out for themselves and willing to abuse the situation.]

Seeing what the weak ones are capable of, I'm amazed things are as peaceful as they seem to be.

[And thinking about that "only magic this world's got", there's a glance sideways and down at where his pokéballs are...]

[And then a very small mutter.] Karma.]

Either it's not as bad as it could be, or they do a remarkable job of rebuilding and recovering, if major disasters are common occurrences. [Not that he's familiar with what the aftermath of widespread devastation is like...] Although I imagine how common these creatures are might make it easier to mitigate damage - not only preventing excess but turning some of their power towards rebuilding.

[Which, if that's the case-] Hm...I imagine the usual rules of them being the ones fighting in any conflict have a measure of protection for the more fragile humans in mind... [As much as he's not plotting anything, he is keeping track of ideas and information - and, well, there are certain patterns he's used to working in...]

But then, it's hardly the time for being that morbid.
