SUCH A DAY

Yesterday was pretty awesome. I had two job interviews that I think went surprisingly well. Got to meet Ang's friend Melissa again, who is such a nice person, and gave me an interview for a secretary position at Wellington West. Looks like it could be fun, although I haven't done interviews in a long time, so I'm sure I screwed it up somewhere. Ah, well. Second interview was for Archeapelago Marine Research. They need data processors for the mountains of paper they have. The two women doing the interview were more interested in the loft and the fact that I have a degree in Psychology. We spent so much time shooting the breeze, it was hilarious. Probably the best interview I've ever had.

Won't hear back from either till Friday, which leaves me in suspense, but at least I close that day so I'll be home for most of it to catch the call. Don't know if I'll stay on at Starbucks or not. I don't think I'm capable of working 60 hours a week to keep my benefits up. Not having shift work is the entire reason that I started applying for something new. And going from no hours to too many might hurt my stress levels.

I've decided to go camping this summer. Preferably for a whole weekend, but we'll see what happens. I need a little retreat to get my head back in order.

Been really good about taking my iron this time around. I got totally chided by my doctor that if I wasn't going to help myself, than there was no point in her continuing to do blood tests. I agreed and that has fueled my ambition to eat better and feel better. Iron does make my head feel a little more spacey, though. Probably why I stopped taking it in the first place.

Well, off to work I go...
