On the bright side, I'm not a werewolf

So much news. Moving downtown in the next two months to this sweet loft apartment. It has concrete floors, which will be cold, but it's own laundrey, which means no more nasty notes from people who can't be bothered to check on their laundrey in two hours. Fuck you, note writer! I need clean clothes too! The new place also has a dishwasher, which is also awesome. And, with Ty, we can all afford it reasonably well! Yay! I just hope nothing falls through and everything works out perfectly well cause HOLY CHRIST am I hating my apartment right now.

Had a lovely little double job interview for a certain coffee chain today. The wage is a little low, but at this point, I'm not really the carring type as long as I have steady income. Everyone was so nice and I'll get called back on Monday to know the new schedule. I hope this means I'll be hired. This way Matt will stop freaking out about our financial situation and I'll be able to start paying my student loans back.

I've begun writing again. With a new muse and a new outlook, I'm trying my hand at first-person stuff. It's going reasonably well, I think. Hopefully this will blossom into something I'll be able to use or *gasp* even publish, if only for myself. That's something I always appreciated: my mother never discouraged me from writing. She thought I should get an English major in college. She still thinks I should go into writing. I'm thinking this might be my opportunity when I get settled in my new job. If that happens, I don't think I'll be able to withstand the happiness. Did I mention the place I'm working will be a half-hour walk away? I'm so looking forward to shedding these extra pounds and looking good again. I haven't been this excited in months.

The only dissapointing thing is that I don't get to socialize that often. I hope to remedy that in the near future. So, everyone, you've been warned. Drinks for everybody!
