The Art of Writing in 140 Characters or Less
A quick question for everyone out there. Would anyone be interested in exchanging user information on Twitter? I joined back in mid-January and for the most part I've found myself fascinated with what people can write in 140 characters or less. When my college professor sent me an invitation link back in November I wasn't sure if I'd like the service or not. Sure Twitter and Facebook are all the social rage right now but popularity doesn't necessarily make a service good. You'd only have to turn to the now defunct MySpace as an amusing example. Nevertheless, I'm surprised at how much more enjoyment I'm getting from Twitter as opposed to Facebook. The services are very different from one another but Twitter gets directly to the point in a way that is infinitely more satisfying than Facebook. As for this social network, it seems I'm pretty horrible at keeping my LiveJournal up to date these days. If I can post something once a month I suppose I'm good. Once a week and I'd be quite happy. The days of posting several times a week or even during a day are probably gone for the foreseeable future.
But hey, I've managed to post something for the month of February, even if the month will be literally over in a matter of minutes.
