Life has been too busy lately. Sometimes I miss being idle for short periods of time.

Last week was horribly busy, and this week looks as if it might be more of the same. The only break I get is the fact that I don't have to be to work until 1:45 tomorrow for a double shift, and other than a trip to the eye doctor (my eyes have been bothersome lately) I can relax on Friday before work. At the very least, the highlight of the weekend was Saturday. I got to go to the Wizard World Philadelphia convention, and it was more fun than I thought it would be. I managed to take some pictures for Philadelphia Weekly, but I haven't had a chance to transfer the pictures from my camera to my laptop yet. I'll probably do so before work tomorrow, then I can happily submit a work expense form (with the full blessing of my editors), since I wasn't going to go to the said convention, if not for PW. Although I may make it a point to visit the convention on Saturday of every year, just because I had a decent time.

When I got home, I relaxed and attempted to catch up on anime I'd fallen behind on, in addition to a few hours of playing Persona 4. I did manage to finish Eden of the East, which turned out to be a major cliff-hanger. Thankfully the fact that two movie sequels have been announced help soften the blow, still it was a unique and enjoyable anime. I'm also slowly working on catching up with Valkyria Chronicles, which is my way of enjoying the series since I can't play the PS3 tactical RPG (not having a PS3 and all). The anime can move slowly at times, but is still fun to watch. Knowing this, I'll probably grab the game whenever I finally acquire a PS3.

Next, I'll have to catch up with Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood which I've fallen six episodes behind on. For now Guin Saga is on hold for various reasons but the biggest one is a lack of translated episodes. Guin Saga has been frustrating since fan subbers have not done anything past episode seven. Either all of the major groups are too busy to pick up the series or they've simply written it off. Those who have picked it up, are currently subbing more shows than they can handle. It is pretty frustrating considering how promising GS is, hell it's more enjoyable to watch than Valkryia Chronicles yet the series remains underrated.

Speaking of which, my internet is frustratingly slow tonight so I'll probably tackle Valkyria Chronicles later in the week. If I have any energy left, I'll attempt Persona 4. At 112 hours in, I'm actually close to the end of the game. Two more dungeons to go, and one is optional at that. Time-wise in the game, I have a little over a month to wrap of all of my end game rushing.
